Every Tote Box LLC track is owned, controlled, and administered end-to-end by us. When you license a song from us, you license from the rights owner — no relays, no sub-publishers, no handshake that needs a follow-up call to clean up.

Where it lands

Streaming TV
Limited series, returning dramas, animation, and prestige documentaries. Master + sync licensed together; per-territory carve-outs available on request.
Advertising
National broadcast, paid social, and brand films, including cutdowns and social re-versions under one umbrella license.
Games
Launch trailers, in-game cinematic moments, and the menu screen your players will loop. Master + sync; gameplay-loop licenses scoped per title.
Short-form video
Creator deals, brand channels, and platform-native vertical content. Per-creator exclusivity is opt-in, not implicit.

How a license actually moves

A pipeline you can read in four steps.

    Request
    A qualified supervisor or buyer sends a brief — what the cue needs to do, by when, and any territorial / term requirements. We reply with a private preview link, the cue sheet, and an indicative quote range.
  2. 02
    Review
    You pull the stems, the watermarked preview, and the clearance memo. The composer and Tote Box LLC are reachable through one inbox — not three. We tell you up-front if a track is in negotiation elsewhere.
  3. 03
    Quote · quote-locked
    Once you confirm a shortlist, we hold a quote for ten business days while you clear your internal approvals and the cuts lock. No last-minute escalation, no surprise re-pricing during option.
  4. 04
    Close
    One master license, one sync fee, one cue-sheet credit. We deliver fully executed paperwork, watermarked alternates if you need them, and the cleared file for delivery.

What the license says, by default

Standard terms we don't bury.

Every quote starts from these defaults; deviations are documented explicitly in the contract and on the quote.

In Perpetuity
Default term across broadcast, cable, and streaming. Short-form and in-game customizable on request.
Worldwide
Default territory. Per-territory carve-outs (e.g. North America only) documented at quote.
All Media
Default scope of use. Limited-media licenses (e.g. broadcast only) documented at quote.
Exclusive
Default scope. Non-exclusive carve-outs on a case-by-case basis; exclusivity windows negotiable.
